Se pare că astăzi luptele politice arhicunoscute din operele lui I. L. Caragiale nu se mai termină cu tradiționalul ”pupat Piața Independenței”. Adversarii tind spre discreditarea și nimicirea celuilalt și vârtejul puterii îi absoarbe într-atât încât sunt ca împărații romani care au luat pe bune că ei sunt descendenții zeilor și deci și-au revendicat și au înhățat puterea și privilegiile. În ziua de azi partidele politice nu cred că a rămâne fideli programului lor ar fi o virtute – şi preiau, fără scrupule, lozincile celor mai înverşunaţi duşmani, dacă aceasta este singura modalitate de a acapara puterea. Legile și constituția au devenit în mâna lor jucării pe care le pot schimba din clipă-n clipă, fiind convinși că sunt deasupra acestora.

La 23 de ani după schimbarea din 89 se întețesc întrebările la care degeaba am căutat răspuns, și în lipsa cărora probabil că ”scăpăm” și de ultima noastră șansă în ce privește rezolvarea problemelor noastre existențiale. Dacă evenimentele trecutului apropiat și a celor care au avut un rol în el nu devin total transparente, atunci putem considera ”schimbarea de regim” un fel de rebeliune de pe strada lui Conu Leonida, adică o piesă regizată de putere care demonstrează de fapt că nu va fi niciodată revoluție adevărată.

Cui i-e frică şi astăzi de I. L. Caragiale, profetul teatral care privind stupefiat evenimentele de azi, şi-ar cumpăra din nou un bilet numai “DUS” spre Berlin?

Este oare Caragiale depăşit?

Povestirea răstignirii este reliefată clar de punerea în scenă (cel puţin ca una din naraţiunile posibile). De la începutul până la sfârşitul spectacolului trecem de la o performanţă individuală compusă din acţiuni juxtapuse, cu referire prin metonimie la dorinţe nedefinite, la o imagine metaforică a naraţiunii occidentale şi creştine prin excelenţă: cea a răstignirii, a supunerii faţă de voinţa tatălui. În termeni laici şi lacanieni am putea spune că individul îşi găseşte parcursul, povestirea sa fondatoare, supunerea sa legii tatălui şi simbolicului. Lumea imaginară a individului, relaţia de simbioză pe care o are cu mama în etapa preverbală, se transformă în cursul acestei traversări a oglinzii (la Tompa aceasta corespunde traversării flăcărilor la sfârşitul partidei) într-o relaţie simbolică cu limba şi cu legea tatălui.

Înaintea răstignirii, bărbatul se afla în faza unei experienţe preverbale, nu avea nevoie de cuvinte, era în simbioză cu mama lui; părăsind lumea imaginarului, el intră acum în cea a simbolicului, a legii tatălui, a „nu-ului/numelui” (non/nom) tatălui – o lume în care copilul nu mai este singur cu mama lui, o lume pe care trebuie s-o împartă cu alţii, cu nevoile, dorinţele şi temerile altora. În dorinţa sa inconştientă, subiectul va căuta totdeauna de acum înainte obiectul pierdut al dorinţei, absenţa, mama – aşa cum a cunoscut-o în timpul experienţei preverbale.

Dacă admitem că povestirea identificării prin stadiul oglinzii descrie (fie şi parţial) parcursul acestei puneri în scenă, ne rămâne să examinăm cum este interpretat prin jocul actorilor şi al scenei.

Ingmar Bergman: Cris et Chuchotements

J’aile faire des paris impossibles avec moi-même. De transposer sur la scène Cris et chuchotements, l’un des films culte les plus bouleversants de l’histoire du cinéma – voici un risque que j’assume, sans savoir où il me conduira, sans savoir si dans le théâtre l’on peut recréer l’expérience inégalable du film. Bergman dit :

« Etre réalisateur de cinéma est parfois une vraie bonheur : de la même manière que lorsque le visage d’un personnage apparaît un expression spontanée, et que la caméra l’enregistre. C’est ce qui s’est passé aujourd’hui. La caméra a immortalisé l’instant. La douleur a été présente pour quelques secondes au moment où la pellicule l’a attrapée. Puis elle est disparue pour toujours. Des moments comme celui-ci me font croire que tout notre travail n’était pas en vain. Il est possible que je ne vive que pour ces brefs instants. Tout comme le pécheur de perles. »

Est-ce qu’on peut recréer au théâtre ces brefs instants de vérité ?

Bergman répétait avec ses comédiennes avant le tournage. Nous essayons de découvrir comment il a entamé ce projet, de nous imaginer comment la fiction du film devient-il réalité. Nous essayons de pénétrer dans le mystère de la création de l’un des plus grands réalisateurs en travaillant dans l’intimité avec quatre comédiennes exceptionnelles.

Le noyau de l’histoire est constituée par quatre femmes. Agnès qui est mourante ; ses sœurs, Karin et Maria, venues pour être auprès d’elle, et la servante, Anna. Les cris et les chuchotements du titre appartiennent à ces femmes.

The opening of the exhibition will be held the Minister of Macedonia and Thrace, Mr. Theodoros Karaoglou (Thursday, 13 September 2012, 20.00).

The Turkish daily newspaper, Zaman, on the occasion of its 25th anniversary, invited 25 internationally renowned photographers to Turkey as part of the newspaper’s Time in Turkey photography project (www.timeinturkey.org). Each one of them has worked around the globe under difficult conditions and often facing dangerous situations.

By accepting the invitation of Zaman to travel throughout the multicultural Anatolia, the photographers encountered stories of Turkey; stories which are witnessed every day but rarely noticed. Using their skills and expertise they managed to encompass all aspects and views of contemporary Turkey, creating a visual journey of the country.

Thessaloniki is the second stop in the exhibition’s journey to Europe. Time in Turkey was shown in London and has already traveled to 11 cities in Turkey, included Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir.

Turkey from a Global Perspective

The Zaman daily is crowning its 25-year journey with a project that is the most comprehensive work of photography ever launched in Turkey. Within the project, titled Türkiye’de Zaman / Time in Turkey, our newspaper invited 25 world renowned photographers to tell stories in photos that reflect life and issues unique to Turkey from their particular points of view. These masters of photography came together for the big “photo of Turkey” for Zaman. The photographers travelled throughout Anatolia, the cradle of many civilizations.

Experienced professionals and journalists from Steve McCurry to Paolo Pellegrin and from Eric Bouvet to Anders Petersen showed us stories from our country that we had not seen, although we had looked. While Jane Evelyn Atwood descended into a coal mine in Zonguldak, Bruno Barbey worked in places that reflected the historical background of İstanbul. Samuel Bollendorff searched the lives that changed due to “water” in the Southeast. Eric Bouvet covered night shift police officers in İstanbul. While Kathryn Cook pursued the traces of 4,000-year-old civilizations in the Ahlat district of Bitlis province, Claudine Doury chronicled young women who are textile workers. Carolyn Drake focused on football culture. Nikos Economopoulos compiled road trip stories from the East and Southeast to the depths of Anatolia. Michel Vanden Eeckhoudt was the guest of Turkish nomads living in Mersin. Rena Effendi worked in the labyrinth-like streets of Tarlabaşı, a neighborhood very close to İstiklal Street in İstanbul, while George Georgiou showed how Anatolia has changed. Harry Gruyaert reflected the colors of İstanbul. Guillaume Herbaut spent time in the highlands of Rize to depict tea culture. Ed Kashi took photos depicting economic development in the country, while Massimo Mastrorillo looked into the new Turkey that is being rebuilt on the margins of urban transformation. Steve McCurry included the whirling dervishes in Bursa province in his portfolio. Davide Monteleone was around the Marmara Sea to capture the importance of the Bosporus and Çanakkale straits. Christopher Morris photographed President Abdullah Gül with the people around him at the Tarabya presidential residence. Paolo Pellegrin took photos of the Kırkpınar oil wrestling in Edirne. Anders Petersen shot minority groups, and Reza photographed an Ashura ceremony in İstanbul. Anthony Suau focused on the concepts of wealth and prosperity, as Gaël Turine looked at the TV industry by examining the series “Valley of the Wolves.” Vanessa Winship presented portraits of children who attended the Turkish Olympiads from all over the world, while Ami Vitale portrayed the other side of Kapadokya (Cappadocia).

This project also featured a continuous and open workshop throughout the year. Each photographer we invited was accompanied by a photojournalist from Zaman. We did not limit the workshop to Zaman as colleagues working for other media outlets as well as freelance photographers were involved in the process by attending meetings and presentations made in the context of the workshop. The Time in Turkey project is an important contribution enabling photography in Turkey to achieve universal standards as well as positively impacting the development of photography as a business.

Now is the time to look at Turkey from a global perspective.

« La chasse aux papillons » (Izgubeni Germanci)

Dejan DUKOVSKI est né en 1969 à Skopje (FYROM). Ancien élève de Goran Stefanovski, il est l’un des premiers en Europe à contribuer au mouvement théâtral «in-yer-face» avec son Baril de poudre en 1993 et reste une icône dans les différents pays d’ex-Yougoslavie. Dejan Dukovski est également cinéaste. Baril de poudre, dont il a écrit le scénario, a reçu le prix de la critique de l’Académie Européenne du film, le prix de la critique au festival international de Venise, et plusieurs grands prix dans toute l’Europe.

« La chasse aux papillons » (Izgubeni Germanci)

Alors qu’approche la fin de la deuxième guerre mondiale, quelques personnalités nazies envoient leurs fils dans une mine des Balkans, en prétendant que celle-ci est stratégiquement importante. En réalité, la mine est désaffectée depuis longtemps; il s’agit, en fait, pour les pères de soustraire les jeunes gens à la mobilisation. Les cinq hommes partagent ce huis-clos avec Maria qui devient leur compagne mais représente, en même temps, un danger pour eux. Alors qu’à l’extérieur de la mine l’issue du conflit est imminente et qu’un nouvel ordre mondial s’annonce, ces « troglodytes » se demandent comment se débrouiller entre eux et avec la nouvelle situation. Il n’y a que Ricki, le dealer afro-américain, qui puisse les sortir de leur mine. Il les met face à la vérité ; il est leur planche de salut, puisqu’il veut les faire sortir dans un monde nouveau.

« La chasse aux papillons » est une pièce sur la haine et le désir, la violence et l’amour, le racisme et l’homosexualité.
