Estonian Theatre Festival DRAMA 2012 and Baltic Theatre Festival

"The Language of Flowers" by Federico Garcia Lorca. Director: Rainer Sarnet

The main theme of the festival is “In Focus: Actor”

The festival DRAAMA 2012 revolves around the Actor. Actor as creator, Actor as contributer, Actor as the focal point of Estonian theatre. The curator Anu Lamp, herself an actress, has put together a programme that highlights the various strengths of Estonian actors. In addition to productions from leading Estonian theatres, young and old performers are featured over a number of evening shows in which the actors come face to face with the audience – as themselves, « filling the wide vessel of the universe » (Shakespeare).
